Hello

I'm having a hard time to configure the signal notifications:

I want: silent notification for both messages and calls.

I get/have no notification on the locksreen for messages (calls work)

dot on the symbole in the launcher. The message(s) in notifications but I miss the symbol in the status bar.

Bubbles is turned off. Threema and SMS work as expected:

Is this some fanncy Andriod 13 mess?

Nobody else has this slip?

Are you configuring them in Signal? Or in your notification app details screen? Leave them default and set the notification ringtone to 'None'.

You don't want them classified as "Silent" you just want them to BE silent. Ringtone > None.

You have your "hide silent notifications" toggles on, which does what it says it does.

Don t know why this is so complicated since Android 9?

    • I configure the notification in the program -> signal messages/calls
    • dosn t work as expected -> notification setting 'silent'

deign You don't want them classified as "Silent" you just want them to BE silent. Ringtone > None.

^^ this would mean all aps (silent)?

[deleted] It would mean the single app you're adjusting the sound on. Not the overview notification screen for all apps.

Use the notification settings to allow notification on the permissions and what not. Enable notifications on Signal settings is one thing but you need to able it on android settings in general.
