Have I missed a trick with my profile setup?

I've created two secondary profiles (primary and GPS) alongside the owner profile. I've left the owner profile default stock. I've installed Obtanium, Aurora Store, and other FOSS apps on Primary. I've installed GPS on GPS profile. I now want to install my banking app on the GPS profile via Aurora Store on the primary profile.

Am I correct to say that I cannot install apps from one secondary profile to another? Do I have to download apps on the owner profile to be able to link them to secondary profiles via the "Install available apps" feature?

If I want to keep the owner profile empty for the benefits outlined here, is the correct method to put Obtanium and Aurora Store onto the owner profile, download the apps there and link them to the secondary profile(s) and then delete them from the owner profile?

Am I thinking about this in the right way? If yes, if I put Obtanium and Aurora Store onto the owner profile and remove them from the primary profile, does that mean that all the apps I've installed in the primary profile will be uninstalled (i.e removing obtanium to another profile will unlink all the apps I've installed via it?)

Thanks for the link. So to confirm I have understood this correctly, If I want to install apps onto a secondary profile, I either have to download them in the owner profile and push them into the secondary profiles (and disable them if required), or I have to install the apps that acquire the apps (Obtanium, Aurora Store, F-driod etc) into each secondary profile and download them there directly. I cannot download apps in a secondary profile and move them to (or use them in) other secondary profiles.

Q1. If I install Obtanium in the owner profile, will it be a completely seperate instance than the one in the primary profile? i.e all of the apps that I installed via Obtanium in the primary profile will not show as installed apps in Obtanium in the owner profile? If so, does that matter?

Q2. I'm interested to know which method most people use -
a) Use the owner profile empty except for the apps to acquire apps and push them to other profiles
b) Use the owner profile for the FOSS and more trusted apps (and forego the benefits of having an empty owner profile) and push less trusted apps or apps that require GPS into secondary profiles

Apps downloaded in the owner profile ONLY, can be pushed to another profile so you do not need to download them again. This is not possible the other way around.

You have a GPS profile for banking apps, why not use GPS to download your banking apps right there in the GPS profile?

Everybody has different arguments depending on personal use how they use the profiles or only the owner profile. So there is no best set-up for an answer.

The easy way to understand the profiles is to see them as another device. The second profile is like a second smartphone.

I installed Aurora Store as my way of obtaining stuff from the play store in my primary profile. I don't have the play store installed on the GPS profile, only GFS and GmsCompatConfig, so I wanted to use Aurora Store on the primary profile to download the banking app for the GPS profile.

Anyway thanks, I think I can see what I need to do now. I will use the owner profile specifically for downloading apps and then push them into the profiles that I want to use them on.

Lizard it used to be you could push apps from a second profile to others but seems that's not possible now .
