I still have apps crashing after v82, even the default launcher.
But after updating to v82, it strangely only occurs after a power cycle of the phone.

[deleted] matchboxbananasynergy was saying that that one specific issue would be fixed with the GmsCompat update. Your issue with the default launcher and other apps is probably something else.

Sharing the crash logs would help determine what the issue is.

This one is strange, but it has been mentioned in a couple other places. Maybe the devs will have a solution.

Your crash report as well as the two linked above have the same app nl.rabomobiel, which is Rabobank? If you disable the app temporarily, do the crashes stop occurring?

It is a Dutch bank app, the buildin launcher from GOS also gives an error, too bad this one doesn't provide a debug output. On the other phone apps like Tidal are also crashing. What I just don't get is, besides the launcher of course, the other apps are not running when the crash occurs....

I just disabled the Rabobank app, rebooted the phone and no crashes! Then enabled it again and rebooted also no crash.... So nice to have hard to reproduce issues :P

It actually just crashed again... it took a little more time, but again it crashed without it running...

[deleted] I tried installing the app on my phone and I get the same crash. I tried restarting my phone and I didn't open the bank app but It still crashed while I had another app open.

This seems to be because of your wallpaper. Another person in the OS Issue Tracker said that they're having issues with repeated crashes. They said they think live wallpapers are a cause. Are you using a live wallpaper? Maybe you can temporarily go back to the black background to see if that fixes this issue?

I noticed the following in the release notes:

Keyboard: include words from all active locales in spell checking to support multiple locales again after the port to Android 14

However, I am still getting red lines from the spell checker when I switch the language of my keyboard to anything other than the primary language that my phone is set to. Does this only fix this behaviour when using the native GrapheneOS keyboard? I am using OpenBoard so maybe that's why it hasn't been fixed for me.
