Hi, i have a problem with my eSim. I used my eSim (prior installed) with GrapheneOS without Google Services on my P7 without problems. Now i wanted to disable mobile data and accidently disabled the whole eSim (without enabled privileged eSim Managment, i did not know this was possible) and the eSim was gone from all menues to reaktivate it.

After that i installed google services and enabled privileged eSim Managment, and now i can see the eSim again, but i cant enable it. The Slider just bounces back.
After a reboot the privileged eSim Managment is disabled again.

Does anybody have a clue how to fix that?

I have to mention, i had the same problem in the past, and could work around it with a full reinstallation (was right after installation). This is no option this time.
But thats the reason i am positiv the issue is with GOS and not the eSim. (As the eSim worked)

For me, the following always has worked on the pixel 6 and grapheneos. Just tested it. I have no gapps installed.

Go to your dialer, type *#*#4636#*#*. A "Testing" page should show up. Press on "Phone Information". (On my phone:) Choose the Phone 1 for the E-SIM. Disable DSDS and re-enable it again. Now it asks me for the PIN code of my SIM and the SIM is successfully enabled again.

Thanks for the response, i tried your fix. Sadly it did not work, i only get "Phone 0" (i think its the physical sim), i cant see "phone 1" in the drop down menu. Deaktivating and reaktivating DSDS does nothing to the eSim.

I will try it again with gapps

With gapps, and enabled privileged eSim Managment, i can see "phone 1", but it sadly does not work.
I still cant activate the eSim. After using the slider, i get a short "switching to "eSim-name" for calls and messages" but then the slider bounces back and nothing changes.
I am quite desperate to get the sim Working again.

Now that you can "see" the eSIM, have you also tried what res suggested about toggling DSDS?

It is also possible you might need to delete & re-install (though this might not be something to rush into).

Or you might try capturing a bug report right after trying to use the eSIM, and sharing the telemetry with a developer on Matrix.

Jeah, tried toggling DSDS in all variantens. I will read up and try to capture a bug report.
On "phone 1" there a only few informations given and only if phone 0 sim card is aktivated.

      6 days later

Could not really solve the issue, had to do a full new flashing of GrapheneOS.
Now the eSIM works again, so it is not a problem with the eSIM.

I tried Res' solution but it did not work. Reinstalling Graphene OS worked and the eSim just worked straight away.
