kemoschwabbie Are you using the GrapheneOS / AOSP launcher? Or have you changed to another one, such as Lawnchair or Nova?
I have had similar issues even with the GrapheneOS launcher, but not for several months now.

I am using the stock Graphene launcher.
Do you recommend using a different launcher?
I have also been experiencing random reboots recently. On reboot I get a message saying that an OS cannot be found. I then press the power and volume up and Graphene loads fine.
I am thinking I should just perform a reset.

I was asking because there's an issue now with non-default launchers. I wouldn't try a different launcher until the issue is resolved. I personally use the default one.

This sounds like an upstream firmware issue that others have been experiencing. Hopefully Google fixes it soon, and when it is fixed, GrapheneOS will include the fix in an update.

This part is strange. Do you have any error messages popping up? Or do you know how to make your phone reboot in this way? Or is it completely random?

Not sure if a factory reset would fix some of the issues your having. Maybe the random resets and the issues closing apps. I think it's likely you'll continue to have the no OS found error even if you do a factory reset.
kemoschwabbie Have you found any solutions to the problem? I am also using a Pixel 7 and having the same issue.
Hello,
I have the same issue on my PIxel 8, even after a factory reset (it's my first graphene flash).
A few hints:
major It started just after I configured a second owner (was working fine before)
What do you mean by "second owner"?
After flashing graphene, there was only one profile. Swipe up was working fine, and everything was responsive.
I then configured a new user (for business apps) and gestures started not working as fast as before. It happened as soon as the new user has been enabled. Fingerprint authentication is also taking more time than before, by the way.
I have the same problem sometimes. I read in another thread and use successfully: in apps, kill and relaunch the launcher app when swipe up is freezing.
Waiting for an official fix though.
Arnauld that's interesting.
Swiping down twice then swiping sideways will temporarily fix the problem half of the time.
"Ending session" and reopening the profile also fixes the issue.
But sometimes I just use it as an excuse to restart the phone, which is something we should do every day, but rarely do.
January 2023, just installed Graphene a couple of days ago and also getting this issue on alternate profiles. Restarting and switching back to main does nothing for other profiles. Main works fine, alts are broken.
It works perfectly fine for me on Owner and secondary profiles.
