One of the major android revisions did away with the whole "Pixel is updating... Optimizing apps..."
That screen takes FOREVER. Now, with GrapheneOS, it's back. Why? Is there a setting I'm missing? Is there any way you guys can get rid of it like Google did? I hate having to wait 30-60 minutes any time my phone updates and y'all push out a lot of them

    Yes. It's been mentioned and discussed numerous times on here and has also been mentioned on social media by the development team.

    "There will temporarily be a long boot time after installing an update based on how many apps you have installed. It's unfortunate Android 14 broke a bunch of this functionality. It impacts us a lot more than the stock OS. For now, reboot into new version when you can wait for it."
