I'm trying to make the transition to Graphene as my main device but I'll never be able to do that if I can't get data to work without wifi.

I use Mint mobile prepaid cards and the device is a Pixel 6, apps on the main profile that could be a problem are Orbot and ProtonVPN, both of which do not have the options for "always on" and "block connections without VPN" turned on. When I go into Settings>Network & Internet>Internet I see Mint at the top and sometimes it will say LTE sometimes it will say 5G but I do not have the option of going into the gear icon settings next to it so I really have no idea how to troubleshoot this issue.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    endth3fed When you say:

endth3fed Orbot and ProtonVPN, both of which do not have the options for "always on" and "block connections without VPN" turned on.

Do you mean they don't have these settings turned on internally in the app?

If so that is not where they reside, I am not trying to insult your intelligence here just working with the info provided, but have you checked SETTINGS>NETWORK AND INTERNET>VPN>GEAR ICON FOR ORBOT/PROTON VPN is where those settings are located.

I'm guessing you mentioned this due to: https://nitter.net/GrapheneOS/status/1563215751833477120

You can also attempt to go to SETTINGS>SYSTEM>RESET OPTIONS>MOBILE WIFI BLUETOOTH and reset them as this sometimes resolves connectivity issues.

Let us know and we can work through this further if the above isn't relevant or doesn't work.

MetropleX I should have been more specific and separated those sentences but yes the gear box settings for both Orbot and ProtonVPN were set to "Off" for all of their settings and after that was confirmed I went into Network & Internet to see Mint was acting wonky.

The main app I'm trying to get working on data is MySudo which I know is not technically alpha released for Graphene but they have addressed it and say it's coming and offer Google Framework workarounds but it's still 50/50 on when it will work with Mint data and when it will give me a "wrong country code error".

I'm leaving wifi off for a while and my next challenge is to get banking & payment apps working and last but not least I'll need to have FB messenger for business and that will be on a profile by itself.

As for the mint data; it's currently working through no changes on my part so hopefully the steps you offered above will help me to wake it up next time.
