Headphone safety is an option in iOS. Is there a way to cap max volume on GOS? I've removed the on screen controls and it helps, but have blown ears out multiple times now with buds in. Any and all insight is appreciated.

That would be nice to see, something I miss from my iOS days

Maybe something like this could help in the meantime

Looks like iPhones and Samsung includes features like this by default:

applesbana Just downloaded APK and it works! Excellent! Not sure how I missed the app on my original search, but thanks! Great suggestion!

Settings > Developer options > Disable absolute volume (on) may be of help for your needs.
AOSP 14 contains a feature called Sound Dose, and it does what you ask for. But I don't know if the devs of GrapheneOS has included this feature in GrapheneOS.

If it’s standard aosp there’s probably a decent chance the devs could put it in I think. Maybe @matchboxbananasynergy knows more?
Hi all, need help troubleshooting an issue. Since yesterday, my P6a on Profile 2 has been overriding the volume limiter when receiving a push from Owner, maxing out my earbud volume (JBL earbuds). Today it happened again, but this time it capped at the set 50% limit.
I’m using the RiMusic app (APK via Aurora; couldn’t get it from Accrescent). This didn’t happen before with Bose over-ear headphones or in-car Bluetooth. I plan to try different apps tomorrow, but any insights or troubleshooting suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
