There is an interesting discussion on Tor over VPN..
https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/770-tor-over-vpn
As I don’t ever use VPNs for reasons alluded to by @MetropleX there as solved. I have been using Vanadium without any issues for over two years. (Would never use it to visit RT etc)
I have not found the need to have other apps over those included with Graphene-OS so tend to use Vanadium to call up Webmail accounts, Met Office and OpenStreetMap. etc.
On my Linux laptops I have recently added Tor Browser which seems fine whereas I have always used Tails+Tor which is designed to live on a USB drive such that it can be used on any computer and when removed it leaves no trace that you were ever there….
When you were there it bounces you around the planet and you can reset at anytime to bounce again and again.
Tails is a portable operating system that protects against surveillance and censorship.

Many use it to access the dark or deep web or just to avoid surveillance and censorship. It works so fast that you soon forget you are using an operating system on a USB drive.
You may ask why I use this USB Tails+Tor rather than just the Tor Browser? I may soon remove the Tor Browsers from my laptops to stop me being lazy… Why…?
ProtonMail… for just one reason…

Swiss Proton had to revise its privacy pages in the wake of this – serious stuff…!
So it was clear to me that should I wish to send a secure email the advice is to use Tails+Tor giving away no IP address; and then use ProtonMail’s web mail fully encrypted feature.
So I have a question for you Guys. Can I do same on my Pixel 3a? Will it let me boot to an external USB drive? Would it interfere with my Graphene-OS once removed and rebooted? Thanks Guys
