As mentioned here: https://www.realmicentral.com/2021/10/28/google-pixel-6-and-pixel-6-pro-allow-you-to-disable-2g/

The stock Pixel 6* have a switch to disable 2G. Does GOS have a similar switch?

I know GOS has a switch to enable LTE only, however, this will kill voice calls if the network operator does not support VoLTE for the handset, and the pixel handsets are not well supported outside of Europe or the USA. I experienced this first hand with my Pixel 4 in an asian country.

balistics69 most 2G networks have been turned off and many 3G networks are also in the same process with their spectrum moved to 4G/LTE.

GrapheneOS does indeed however offer you the option of turning it off with LTE-Only Mode: https://grapheneos.org/features#lte-only-mode

Honestly I don't think GOS even facilitates 2G in the stock menu either. However my carrier is a 3G and up carrier that never had a 2G network so.

Is there any way we could compile a list of providers that have shut down 2G/3G already from members here who have that knowledge?

MetropleX My idea is to prevent downgrade attacks to 2G, which is a major source of vulnerabilities.

Hulk Where can it be done? Is there a specific 2G disable in the menu?

You can also go in through dialer --> *#*#4636#*#* --> phone information --> set preferred network type.
