andrewteg I remember that my pixel 3a got partial updates from Google and especially GOS for a few months after the official support ended, but it stopped after the update to Android 13 was done for the newer devices. GOS release notes back then mentioned they might continue updates, but from my understanding they only do the extended support in order to ease the transfer to a newer device that gets full security patches from Google. GOS devs have a very strict security policy, so my expectations would be that once Android 14 comes out, you shouldn't expect any more updates and instead move to a Pixel 6a or newer.
The patch notes I'm referring to are here. Probably one of the next patch notes will state something similar for the Pixel 4a.
