Call logs not appearing for main and secondary user profiles?

### Hello GrapheneOS Community,

I'm experiencing some issues.
I tried making and receiving many calls using the default Phone app and SimpleMobileTools Dialer app.
In both main and secondary user profiles, but no call logs were ever recorded.
Is this happening to me alone or a known issue for everyone?

buddy No, that's not normal.

A sanity check: Has the Phone app got the Call logs permission enabled? As the default Phone app is a system app, that permission is enabled by default.

Yes it's the default Phone app with permissions to call logs. And I made sure "call log backup/restore" system app is enabled.

But still no call log or call history.

I found that enabling/disabling

Contacts
Contacts Storage

will turn on/off call logs/history,
which can be useful for certain situations

so @treequell you may now tag it as "Solved"
