GOS doesn't convert DNS-over-TLS to DNS-over-HTTPS for cloudflare-dns.com

When Private DNS servers, such as dns.google.com and cloudflare-dns.com, are specified in Android 11+ devices, they are supposed to be converted from DNS-over-TLS to DNS-over-HTTPS connections automatically as per this report - https://twitter.com/MishaalRahman/status/1549488111045967872 . That does not happen on GrapheneOS. I think dns.google.com and cloudflare-dns.com are the only servers that do that participate in such conversions.

Could we just skip DNS if we write down the IP addresses of the websites we use to a list?

I mean how many websites do we use really?
Not that much I would say.
Then we type in the IP addresses.in. the browser and no DNS needed right?

Okay but what about the connections the applications and system make. Maybe they work the same what anyway?

Perhaps because the GOS website currently only mentions DoT and does not seem to mention DoH anywhere:

Which perhaps might make some users assume that GOS would not support the following:

https://security.googleblog.com/2022/07/dns-over-http3-in-android.html

So perhaps that information would need to be added to the GOS website.
