Unable to start Google session - Google Play

Hi,
I have been unable to log in to my Google account for a few days or weeks from Google Play, ( Login from Vanadium Works !) .

I start Google Play or Add Google Account Option from Settings Menu , or using installed app Maps, Gmail, etc...

1.I login with my email
2 My password (which is correct)
3.I get the dialog "Waiting to identify with your security key" or something like that, asking me to identify myself with my 2fa method which is Hardware Key (Yubikey) I have installed Google Play Services , my Yubikey Works on other accounts from web and apps , example Bitwarden, Tuta etc...
4.The dialog stays like this for a long time without the typical screen to identify me with the security key.

I try to setup new profile , and is the same issue ?
Login from Vanadium to my google account works and the 2fa dialog is works also my yubikey.

Any idea ?

proclaim Just a quick sanity check: Did you set up sandboxed Play Services correctly first? To be specific, have you given both Google Play Services and Google Services Framework the network permission?

Yes I have permissions (network) setup corectly for both services . And sing in from Vanadium with Yubikeys to Google account with no problem .
I also setup corectly K-9 Mail with my Google email .
I use USB not NFC when sign in every service that support yubikey without problem .

But login from any google app or add profile > Google doesn't work and stay always on this screen .

edit: I try to login with clean profile no VPN no other apps only Google services and the same screen .

I don't think Sandboxed Google Play on GrapheneOS properly supports NFC. I tried it on two separate occasions and was forced to plug the security key directly into the port. I faced the same issue with Bitwarden, I believe.

Hi, for me yubikeys works perfectly with Google services enbled I try NFC and USB and both method works with BW and other accounts that support HwKeys . But I prefer use USB over NFC .

Ok I solved the problem .
Google account setup with 2fa to use Security Keys , to login into the account on GOS you need to remove the 2fa first signing from Vanadium into the Google account . After this you can sign from any Google App, Play store etc... and then activate again your Yubikeys .

I don't no why , but in GOS when is setup 2fa hw keys is not posible to sign from Google Apps .

Can confirm this please?
