Hello all,
I switched from stock rom to GrapheneOS today and did not delete my e-sim that was previously enabled in the stock rom.
My e-sim now works on GrapheneOS without any problems, even though I don't have GSF installed.

The option "Enable privileged eSIM management" is grayed out, but the e-sim is fully functional (mobile data as well as calls).

What is the reason for this?
I thought you need the GSF to use an e-SIM?

Sandboxed google Play and the privileged eSIM management toggle are needed to activate an eSIM, not to use one. eSIMs are also not wiped when factory resetting or flashing another OS (there's a separate option to wipe them), so that's why it carried over from Stock OS.
