Wallet - Google Pay
OfflinePuffin No. Only supports contactless payments on Huawei phones I believe. Fortunately I have a Garmin watch so I added my Curve card to Garmin pay on my watch and that works great even when using Gadgetbridge instead of Garmin Connect. So that has been my solution.
I would suggest buying a wallet you can attach to your phone, like this one: [https://www.amazon.com/WuoJI-Phone-Card-Wallet-Smartphones/dp/B075LFJ1TQ]

Samething happened to me. I bought the Pixel 9 Pro with the Pixel Watch 2 last month. When I was setting up the device, I managed to add the cards I tried. Now I have tried to add a new one, and as you said "Verification window (when you enter card details and billing address) just closes when I press "Continue" button and returns back to "Add a payment method"."
joaomorenorf I discovered why it wasn't working. You need to share your location at all times with Google Services while adding a new card. When I did it, I managed to add.

I have solved the problem by using a cheap Swatch-Watch with SwatchPAY. The app runs on GOS but is not required for the process itself. The Watch works even without Battary and is always with me. But doesn't trak anything. So I always can pay with NFC. The only little downside: I must use my PIN more often, but that's not really an issue.
5rlyn No, it was not that.
Haven't tested properly but I think it works now.
I can confirm that Curve Pay now works for contactless payments with a GrapheneOS phone. I just paid for groceries using it and it worked great. For reference I am in the UK but I hear that it's working everywhere Curve is available (so not the US for now).
Michiel Yes Google Play Services is installed in the same user profile
I also recently contacted Privacy.com support and they confirmed that NFC payments are coming soon.
