How can I fully backup my Pixel 7 to external SSD?

My only flash drive is too small to create a backup of my Pixel, and the Pixel doesn't recognize it anyway. How can I create a full backup to an external SSD?

I use the open source Syncthing to copy any pixel files over my desktop. That may be an option.

Question is confusing. If your external flash drive is too small, are you asking about techniques you can use to pre-compress the data?

Also, it is impossible to create a "full" backup without root. Seedvault only will backup a subset of what is on your phone.
