In firefox I can enter about:config and enable/disable settings, etc. I really find having Tabs pages popping up in Vanadium to be personally inconvenient and irritating. Is there a method similar to that of firefox or chromium to disable/remove the Tabs feature from Vanadium, to use only my Bookmarks instead? Something like a 0 /1 value setting or settings to do the trick perhaps? Many thanks.

nomogoogly think that tab groups can be turned off with chrome://flags if thats whats bothering you. Theres possibly other stuff in there also

Thanks dazinism. I have Disabled all of the Tabs results there and relaunched, but Tabs are still coming up. I am hoping for a method to completely remove/disable the Tabs page from coming up during a session. I would prefer a modified, bare bones Vanadium, whereby my browser opens to the last page opened as usual and the Tabs "feature" is completely removed from Vanadium. Is this possible?

I don't think that's possible, and it would be very limiting if it was disabled. Android doesn't provide a facility for multiple windows to be opened like a desktop does, therefore to have two pages loaded at the same time absolutely depends on tabs.

I have done it and I like it. Thanks @dazinism

Aha... Ok, thanks. I have no need to have more than one open, as far as my phone browsing is concerned. But if that's how it needs to be, then I will adapt. cheers

csis01 A second Vanadium browser window can be opened fairly easily:

      1. On a web page, open up the browser menu (triple dots in the top right)
      2. Open the "Share..." menu
      3. Hit "More" in the menu that pops up
      4. Select "Vanadium" in the next menu that pops up

Now a new window has opened, and both will occupy space in the recent apps section. Vanadium will now have two new options in the browser menu: "Move to other window" and "Manage windows (#)", and the latter has the ability to create new windows. I don't know how to make these options become available without going through those other steps, though. Maybe there's a config option?
