I've followed the steps to install graphene on a new P6 pro from the official guide however I get "Error: Failed to execute 'open' on 'USBDevice': Access denied." when trying to unlock the bootloader.
I'm using Manjaro, though I had the same problem with Fedora.

I tried turning on USB debugging mode, allowed USB media transfer and updating to android 13 but with the same result (actually now on Fedora it won't get detected at all when in fastboot, same with Windows).

In subsequent tries I noticed that when the phone gets detected I get "paired" next to phone's name.
In the fastboot screen it says UART disabled, don't know if it means anything.

I've yet to try with another cable as I only have one with USBC and USB, I'll be trying with the one that came with the Pixel Phone with an adapter, however it gets detected fine when connected regularly outside of fastboot (also in Fedora and Windows).

The browsers I've used are Brave and Chromium.

Thanks in advance for any help.

JL23 I may be wrong, but I don't think Manjaro or Fedora are listed as supported by the web installer. Many non-listed configurations genuinely don't work. Can you try one of the known-good combinations and report back?

      Ok, I'll try that.
I thought that Manjaro being Arch based would've been fine.
Although I get problems with W10 too.. I'll try also on another PC

Also, I had to connect to the internet to be able to enable OEM unlocking even though I didn't buy the phone from a carrier but directly from a store. Would that mean the phone I bought possibly has some modifications that makes it not possible to unlock?

It is not alarming if you needed to connect the phone to the Internet to enable OEM unlocking, as long as unlocking worked.

Update for anyone with the same problem

I resolved the issue simply by using an adapter to connect the phone to the computer with the official cable that came with it.
I did the installation in W10 with Edge, totally expecting it not to work but indeed it did.

Hope this can help somebody else that encounters this issue.

Edit: I can't seem to find how to tag this discussion as solved..
