I have a few bank NFC cards that I'd rather not carry together, plus I'd rather not show merchants my real card numbers. G Wallet is also convenient for membership cards, though I imagine I could save these in some other app or even photos.
Gpay alternatives for grapheneos?
upsidedown I see. Do you have benefits for each of those cards? I mean here, I have a debit card which I guess it's enough. We have to pay annual costs for every card we have,
Yes there's an app for loyalty cards. Check on f-droid for "Catima" it's open source and really great!
My cards have different 5% cashback categories (gas, groceries, etc). No annual fees.
At first glance, Catima does look great for loyalty cards. I’ll consider using it, thanks!

upsidedown If you are concerned with privacy, why do you use cashback cards? Aren't they privacy nightmares?
upsidedown No problem! That's nice, unfortunately we don't have 5% cashback cards here, our banks are so bad..I think mine is like 0.1%
SerenityNow in what way?
mgeo I was thinking of cards like payback, where they know what you buy where and when. OK, compared to Google data collection that's neglectable I guess.
SerenityNow well, that's true, but if it's not on the phone, can they still correlate?
My cashback credit cards are with a couple banks and I’m not overly concerned with them knowing my purchase habits, or even Google if I were to use G Wallet. Security is more important to me …why I don’t like carrying physical cards

upsidedown I see. I agree. I wish there was some wallet app too but sadly there isn't. How do you handle it? do you have a second phone?

I got Curve Pay working after some tries.
This is what you need to do.
- Install AppGallery from Huawei (search it on the browser and just follow the instructions to install the apk)
- From AppGallery install Curve (important: Curve has to be installed from AppGallery, if you already have Curve then delete it and reinstall from AppGallery)
- Install also "HMS Core" from AppGallery
- Go to the phone App settings and enable all permissions for both Curve and HMS Core. Enable also the advanced permissions that appear on a different menu (on the main menu at the bottom).
- Open HMS Core and create a Huawei account and link it with your Google profile (this is key, otherwise it won't work)
- Reboot the device and retry. Be patient, it can take some minutes but it should work.
- Tested both with LineageOS-14 on a OnePlus phone as well as with the stock Pixel OS on a Google Pixel 9 Pro phone running the last Android-15 (with unlocked bootloader, everything straight from Google)
When you have it working then you can (if you wish) start dropping permissions back from this apps. I'm not sure what permissions are exactly needed, but I can guarantee that if you enable every permission and you create and enable the HSM Core account then it should work.

@"kALIMIzT" For some reason I can't edit anymore my comment.
So here are some corrections:
When I said "(with unlocked bootloader, everything straight from Google)" I wanted to say " (with locked bootloader, everything straight from Google)"
And the last paragraph reads better as:
When you have it working then you can (if you wish) start dropping permissions back from this apps. I'm not sure what permissions are exactly needed, but I can guarantee that if you enable every permission and you create and link a Huawei account on the HSM Core app then it should work.

Sorry but I'll trust holding my genuine card's chip up to a reader over giving my bank info to any 3rd party.
Certus They support cards from anywhere, but it is currenly only for residents in the EU. They are planning to expand to the US but still didn't happened AFAIK https://www.curve.com/en-us
I also got Curve from Huawei working on GrapheneOS. You will be prompted to install HMS Core by the Curve app itself, but non special permission is required besides network , nor the creation of a Huawei account. Rebooting is necessary before enabling contactless payments.

I also got Curve from Huawei working on GrapheneOS.
I don't know if it's a coincidence with the uninstallation of HMS core but this is what I did:
- Install Huawei App Gallery, Curve and HMS core.
- Try to enable Curve NFC but gets stuck in endless waiting.
- Uninstall HMS core.
- Try again to enable Curve NFC, this time it worked.
- Install HMS Core again .
Not need of Huawei account or special permissions.
Now I have pending to make a payment to see if it works.
