At the unlock screen I only have the ability to enter numbers after a reboot, despite setting up password unlock with alpha numeric characters. I've tried plugging in a keyboard, but only numbers register, not letters. It's like the keyboard app has disappeared completely. Has anyone else experienced this? Can't use the phone at all.

      HD487 Can you try to boot into safe mode?

        Yes I've tried unlocking in safe mode with the same result. I do use the default keyboard also.

        Are you sure that you didn't use a single letter in your password?

        My unlock password is definitely a word with letters, numbers and special characters
