GrapheneOS version 2026090500 released

mar2112

This version has not gone to beta and looks like a dead end. There was no official announcement here and I assume there is another site where this is oxygenation is available. Where can I go to to find current status?

We're currently making a new OS release to resolve a volume bar UI regression caused by an upstream Android security preview patch. We've also fixed a Private Space UI issue.
The major Messaging app release we've been working on for months has been slightly delayed to after we make the OS release.

M3b4 I agree, the colours changed. I turned off 'Adaptive Tone' and it helped a bit
You probably have 'Comfort View' turned on. It didn't use to turn the screen yellow before, but now it has a noticeably yellow tint

Novaliss I shouldn't be forced to install one-time apps on my main profile.

"Dialer: add support for automatic call recording with a per-call opt-out switch for both incoming and outgoing calls along with a notice of automatic call recording being active during calls"

Will there be a toggle to enable or disable the call recording notice when it is legal to do so?

GrapheneOS

Hake1 It means a notice for the user enabling it, not the other end. It's the responsibility of the person enabling it to inform the other end if necessary. We can add an option to do that automatically but haven't done it yet. One party consent is the law in Canada and most US states along with a lot of the rest of the world. There are jurisdictions where two party consent is needed which means users are responsibility for doing it. We inform people about this and avoid them ever forgetting that it's still active.

The Guest account is intentionally really limited. If you try using it as owner of the device, this stunting and these limitations will soon get annoying.

@GrapheneOS I've noticed that as a phone call is initiating the buttons don't populate for a couple seconds. Iirc, initially the call recording button is top right, however once things initialize that is where the speakerphone/BT button sits. This has led to some accidental presses since it switches within a few seconds.

This is on a P6. Anyone else have this issue and can anything be done about it? Should I file a formal issue?
