de0u it‘s still on 4 hours activated and my device for this test is a Pixel 10a. But i will test it tonight again.

I'm also seeing the odd volume panel behavior since updating to 2026090501 on my 9proXL. Tapping the "expand" icon on the exposed volume panel causes the panel to disappear instead of expanding it to reveal the other channels.

americanDude same volume mixer issue

VAULT

americanDude I CONFIRM the same problem on my P10P XL... NO "volume mixer" after this update!

olemraC1C1

I need to report an issue. Downloading this update on the alpha channel, my vivid profile for display colour has disappeared. P10P.

phone-company

Okay, auto-reboot works as it should. All is fine.

de0u

phone-company Do you know what was going on?

Settings: initialize display color mode to the correct default value to resolve remaining issues with switching back to the default color mode for Pixels caused by an upstream bug not currently impacting the stock Pixel OS

The 'Saturated' colour mode is gone, and it was buggy, e.g. didn't turn off when should so.

phone-company

de0u no idea...maybe my fault and i tryed it before 4 hours?!

SplatterGames

I appreciate the technicality :)
But I would also argue that Android got this better, the user shouldn't care about the possibility of the OS to update during usage

I have 3 modes / natural works. I can't see much of a difference when selecting the 2nd one.

xxx My devices have the following options under color settings on 2026090501

P6A: Natural, Boosted, Adaptive
P7: Natural, Adaptive
Pixel Tablet: Natural, Adaptive
P9PXL: Natural, Adaptive

I shall check if auto-reboot works and I'll report back. (I'll set it to ten minutes)

Pocketstar

Pocketstar All four devices rebooted properly.
Auto-reboot is working fine on all of my devices.

Confirm AutoReboot works on P9PXL

phone-company

Thank you guys for checking out autoreboot. I think it was a false alarm... My fault, sorry

Pocketstar

phone-company Don't sweat it. It is always good for people to report such an important thing like a malfunction of auto-reboot, even if it appeared to be a false alarm afterwards. I have been in similar situations where it was a false alarm. We all are doing our best keeping the project secure with our reports to our very best intentions. And besides, to double check it is absolutely no trouble at all, better safe than sorry. Keep posting your findings! (-:

SYS

When setting up a guest profile, if you toggle applications off and on again, the installed apps from the main profile disappear and won't show up on any subsequent attempts. Only a restart fixes this
P.s:
It's already well-known that the volume mixer fails to show up when turning the volume up or down

SYS

app installation is impossible in a guest profile. Is there any way to allow the installation of temporary (one-time) apps for guest users?

Novaliss

SYS installation is impossible in a guest profile

No, there's a switch to enable first party-installs, as well as the 'Install availiable apps' for 'pushing' apps into guest.
