mmmm Yes, but we're not talking about a new product here. Historically, all pixels have been supported and they currently support devices that aren't up to the current spec, the Pixel 6 included. There's an argument to be made either way on adding a pixel that doesn't meet the new spec, but that's a separate discussion.
I think most people, myself included, who have donated want to see the project grow and expand to reach more users. I'm not saying Graphene should compromise its mission, but things you can do with a few thousand users are more difficult as user number increases.
The reality is we're not talking about adding support to something like a Samsung. We're talking about a series which has historically been supported and which already has a partial port. More importantly, a new Pixel 10 is more expensive than the Pixel 11 if you took the promo deal. And the higher storage teirs of the pixel 10 aren't available at all.
I think most of us still on the Pixel 6 would view a supported Pixel 11 as a major improvement in both hardware and security compared to where we're at, especially since support for Pixel 6 is ending soon.
I was looking forward to getting a Motorola but my phone is dying and there's not a clear release timeline or price for that phone. So even just supporting the Pixel 11 in a reduced capacity until the community has a clear understanding of what Motorola will be providing would in my opinion be a good thing to do.
