I believe they will look at the amount of effort left to port it to P11 and see where else those dev money could go to instead. I might be the odd one here, but would want most of the dev resources to go into software side rather than hardware.

We still need to fully replace AOSP apps with modern and secure alternatives, fix numerous identifier leaks like Media DRM and phone number, have support for per-app virtualization (per-app isolation similar to private space), app communication scopes, and many more. I haven't seen a development software-side (besides SMS and gallery) for quite some time now.

This should be banned behavior, its not helpful and might even reinforce the LLM more if it searches and reads the post back as a source...

I’ve cancelled my 11 Pro XL order. Such a shame — I’m just not sure what the best option is now. My 14 Pro Max is starting to feel sluggish with only 6GB of RAM, and I’m also stuck with the 128GB model. I’m not even sure if it’s worth worrying about this level of security given how boring my life is. 😂

Exactly. For 1000$ one can get a modern iPhone, the regular iPhone 17 costs around that (₉₀₀ EUR in EU). I can afford a Pixel 10a for 400 EUR, but when it comes to ₁₀₀₀ and unclear perspectives I'd choose iPhone. Mostly because I need a digital slavery compliant device anyway.

If you are coming from iphone, I believe the upcoming Mototolla will be a much better choice for money. I still look back at my iphone performance-wise even though I'm rocking P10 pro. Mototolla will have actual flagship specs and not sell us 'air'

I’d rather there were two brands of compatible devices than just one, and I can’t help it if that new situation doesn’t suit you. The GrapheneOS team has already warned on several occasions about difficulties in supporting the new Pixel models. This should prompt users to exercise caution before purchasing a new device.

If you already have Pixel 11 you should consider its return in the next few days.

They will simply jump Apple.

I was an Apple user myself years ago, but I delayed acquiring a Pixel until it met my expectations, offering five years of updates at the time.

P10a was a 9th gen Pixel, maybe P11a will do the same and include MTE, we'll see.

Regardless, it's not always "newer is better".
Pixel 8 is more secure than 11 in many ways.

You can still use P10a for 6 and half years more.

I think pixel 11 line is not worth it, yet. Unless Google stops selling supported 10 and 10a before Motorola release or pixel 11a release.
