gosu I hope the decision-making process will still turn out positively for the Pixel 11.
That is not impossible, but I think it's important for people to understand that if there is a positive decision there are plausible reasons for such a decision to happen months in the future. In a sense the easiest "snap answer" is "no", so people might not want to push for a quick decision.
gosu Even though the removal of MTE is disappointing, at least the performance boost from the M3 chip is still there.
My (very limited) understanding is that the Titan M3 is faster at post-quantum crypto, which basically nobody is using at present. I think there is an overall security boost, but it's not clear there is an overall performance boost (but if there is, citations would be welcome).
gosu I’m keeping my fingers crossed and that Pixel 11 users will at least be offered a little more security with a GOS-Version (even if its a "light version").
The 10-series devices are fine, and the 11a might support MTE. If developer time were not an issue, some sort of support for the 11 devices might make sense, but I think many people are hoping that developer time is spent on the Motorola devices.
