  • Lock screen media from one profile is visible on another

On one secondary profile I can play media, and with the setting "show media on lock screen" enabled that media can be controlled from the lock screen, as expected.

Right now, when I switch to a different secondary profile, the media from the first profile is visible on the different profile's lock screen. This is happening on my phone for both Spotify and Newpipe (the only two media players I've tested). In the case of newpipe, I'm even able to play the media from the first profile from the lock screen of the second! This is on a pixel 6.

    I suppose so but it doesn't contain any explanation as to how one profile might know what another's media is. How is this possible? I do not expect for this behavior to be occuring - am I off base?

        spiral Most bugs result in behavior that is unexpected. Based on the GitHub issue linked to in the other discussion forum thread it does not appear that an explanation is available to be copied into this discussion forum thread. Subscribing to GitHub notifications on that issue, or monitoring it some other way, may provide more information over time.
