NathanBeltran Somebody else would need to confirm this, but I imagine the device will not reboot if it is in the middle of a installing a system update.

treequell Nah, I just phrased it badly. Thank you for correcting me. I meant that the device will auto-reboot after 10 minutes of inactivity and perform the update while rebooting (if an update is available).

And yes, the device will not reboot while installing an update as the auto-reboot timer does not start until successfully booting and unlocking the device.

cascaderainfall The problem is that the device has 10 minutes to download the update and prepare everything for the reboot that will apply the update. If it can't do that within 10 minutes, it will likely not be able to update.

cascaderainfall autoreboot timer persists even in BFU mode. It's an intentional design choice.

If you set auto-reboot to 10 minutes, it will reboot every 10 minutes regardless of whether you're in AFU or BFU mode.
