Hi,
I just installed GrapheneOS on my P6a and now I want to install WA.
I already created a new user profile

1) Which profil-configuration (SMS-Access, Install Apps, Install 3rd party etc....) do I need to get WA running?

2) Which Google services (Google Play services, Google services Framework, google play store etc....) does WA need to get installed and running?

3) Is there any app-overview, that include apps and the correspondant google service dependencies?

Thank you for your help

Before you listen to any advice on installing Google ware on your system let me tell you that I have been using WhatsApp (downloaded via Aurora) for 2 months, works well and I am not experiencing any major battery drain from this app as others try to suggest. At the end of the day the decision will be yours.

freakazoid I don't use any. I just ensure that WhatsApp has unrestricted battery use. I never noticed it stopping in background. I do not know what other apps you intend to use though and they may need Google services active to function properly. Just install full Google package from Apps. Unrestricted battery for Play services and framework.

[deleted] just a slight clarification: only play services require unrestricted battery, for push notifications to work. Other 2 apps don't.

        Thank you for your answers.

I did install the app and it works.
