So that experimental/pre alpha channel was new for the Android 17 release and normally new releases go straight to Alpha? Or is there usually an experimental/pre alpha release channel?

Developer-Dude I've never had any bugs I noticed on Alpha, so I imagine it depends on the person.

Updated to this from A16. I noticed now my phone doesnt drop to 4G when battery saver is enabled like it used to. Can anyone else check?

Pocketstar Regret i did not disable apps one by one as only Obtainium, Vanadium, ProtonVpn, ProtonCalendar are the enabled app notifications. Unhide system apps and disabled Seedvault notification permission. I suspect it was the Seedvault as the Apricorn USB (usb with keypad) was the only USB flash i inserted prior to testing the others. Now i could no longer replicate the issue. Anyways glad that this was on me only & an isolated case as other are reporting all are in order. Happy playing with our toys!

Is it normal not to have the cellular data toggle in quick settings user profile? I only have it in the owner profile.

It seems like there's no toggle in regular settings either.

Carrousel7956 normally there's only the internal testing channel before alpha, but for a17 a new experimental channel was made (and removed)

with 3 button navigation there's almost no space between icons and nav buttons on home page

The 10s has it in Stable. ≤9 hasn't. Problems, or am I just refreshing /releases too quickly? 🤓

GrapheneOS-Jub You need to kill the Files app from the app info menu. This is not an issue with your USB drive, but rather an old bug in the AOSP Files app. https://github.com/GrapheneOS/os-issue-tracker/issues/3813

Appears to be just slowing the roll. I haven't seen any specific problems mentioned. 2 hours ago in # testing the following reason appeared.

Android 17 is headed to Stable for Pixel 10a now and soon the other devices, just starting with the Pixel 10a because it needs Android 17 the most and helps get broader testing
