There's no application that has a connection, not even Google, not Firefox, not Vanadium. Not even PayPal and other banking apps.
Is this because of a missing config file? I don't know how GOS works, but please help. I am using it and I have the same configuration on my computer (NextDNS config*) and it is working fine on the PC. Doesn't it work on GOS? Yes, NextDNS makes use of a VPN. So maybe there is a setting that blocks VPNs?
I posted on Reddit, but a bot told me to send you here instead, so I'll add this description.

I've started using NextDNS on my computer and it works. I'm sure some sites will break. But on GrapheneOS it seems to break everything for some reason. Firefox stops trying to connect and Vanadium fails as well. The "NextDNS is active" voice to search also can't find a network, even though WiFi and mobile data are turned on. I have NextDNS VPN activated. Then, strangely, when I click on the CONNECTED button to make it "unconnected", it still blocks my internet. I have to go into settings and disable the app. So I am wondering: Is this a side effect of GOS or a missing app that I need? Perhaps a reinstall?

I tried using it without a "Configuration ID" but the issue is the same.

I just tried it didn't work for me and then I remembered I've run into the same problem as you and forgot you need to make one small change for this to work.

Go to Settings > Network & internet > VPN > NextDNS (gear on the right) > turn OFF "Block connections without VPN"

Try again and everything should be working normally.

      Enable "Private DNS"

unwat Hi, I'm so happy that it works now. Thanks for sharing the solution to this problem! I can now safely connect to banking services and much more without worrying that the services I dislike are connnecting to my phone. Good day to you!
