On the in-app maps (like Gasbuddy and Tile) I wonder if it's browser based? For instance, it doesn't recognize the browser so it doesn't show the maps? I've got Kiwi installed as my default, but it seems to be a webpage that the map uses in-app so maybe there's a tie-in there...
