Autoreboot keeps screen on, burning the oled.

After autoreboot occures, the screen doesn't turn off, instead it stays at the SIM pin screen forever.
This is especially bad when the phone is left overnight as it can go hours without the screen changing.

I wouldn't like a numpad burnt into my screen, so anyone has an idea how to fix this?

You can just disable the SIM card lock and you're good to go.

Hmm... it would seem that the SIM card lock happens at a point in the boot process, before any screen timeout.
Is the auto-reboot feature part of AOSP, or a GrapheneOS feature? If so, there might want to be a disclaimer about screen burn.
