Completely agree with u.
I’ve read many people saying they prefer a Chinese company over a U.S. company as an OEM. To me, that’s a crazy statement. They would rather give their money to a company owned by Lenovo, which is a Chinese company, so technically all that money would be used to finance a Chinese corporation whose history has revealed a lot of bloatware and security issues. To me, it sounds like they’re saying they would prefer to live in and financially support a Chinese regime, where privacy and security are only a dream and you can’t freely express your opinion without risking arrest, rather than the U.S., where privacy and security may also not be perfect, but U.S. based phone companies generally offer better security features, and you can express your opinions freely without being detained. Also regards about their data, at least on U.S and in Europe we have some regulations about the selling data, than on China where there is no regulations, and probably they also sell ur private information on third-party companies without encountering any issues or regulations.
I will continue to use my Google Pixel phone, I wanna support a democracy state than an regime state. Hoping someday Google, Apple, NSA etc.. they will stop putting backdoor on our phone and reduces the amount of data collection.
