Motorola Mobility exists since 2011, and is not the same entity as Motorola Solutions.

I like how we are criticizing Motorola while we all use Google Pixel phones for GOS.
Having more options is never a bad thing. And thus far the GOS devs having access to an OEM for support has got plenty of benefits overall.

Besides I don't think there's any top-tier OEM out there that can't be heavily criticized in some way for their business practices around privacy and security.

Looking forward to see which phone Motorola releases that can run GOS!

I need more information on Motorola's Thinkshield and Moto Secure.
Does it operate at the firmware or application level?
Can it be removed via a ROM flash? And if so would that cause issues?
Will the GOS team get to see the source code of ThinkShield?

Since mototola mobility is controlled by Lenovo which is HQ in Beijng China. We know that the board of directors are required to have at least one CCP members in it. How does GrapheneOS leaders ensure no compromises in the platform against its anti-surveillance and privacy stance?
