Not f-droid directly, but installing applications without Google's consent in Google-verified Android distributions (i.e. any phone that came with Play Store pre-installed)

just to clarify, this won't directly affect GrapheneOS and similar non-Google AOSP forks. Keyword here being directly, as the ramifications could be that this has a chilling effect in developing apps Google might not be a fan of even if the developer wouldn't distribute via the Play Store in the first place
