  • a way to lock down my son’s DNS settings

Hey all, just a disclaimer that i’m a noob but eager to learn.

I am trying to set a custom DNS setting for my son’s phone and then password protect the settings so he can’t change it. It’s to shield him from explicit content online. How can i do this?

from what i’ve seen in graphene videos, there’s no function to password protect dns settings. Ideally he could switch wi-fi’s still, too

I don't think there is a perfect way to do this in GrapheneOS. VPNs and DNS servers can be adjusted for any profile even without access to the main profile. You could just set the DNS server and just hope he doesn't notice, but that's about it.

Another good use case for App Locker that could lock settings
