Apple can now limit location data. Can GOS?

Anybody know how they do this? Is this now or could it be part of GOS? The article makes it seem like it is just the cell phone handing over gps coordinates. If so, would it be easy to just to not do that or to lie? But the fact it only works with some carriers makes me think its more complicated than that.

Stelia It's interesting for sure. Apple hasn't released any information on how it works. I imagine the Graphene team would be open to implementing it if it's revealed to be feasible and useful, but we will have to wait for more information to come out.

Coarse location data provided by 4g and 5g networks can often be more accurate than fine precision data provided by GPS. Nonsense.
