Futo Voice Input?

Anyone using the app in conjunction with heliboard? Working well? It needs internet all the time or only during install to download the models?

The internet permission is only used to download or update models.
But you can either install all models you want and disable it or download the models with the browser as files and import them with the app.

No with Heliboard, but with Futo keyboard and Swiftkey. It's been my go to voice input regardless of the keyboard I'm using.

It doesn't require internet at all, and doesn't even include that as a requested permission. I guess any model update would require an app update, though I don't know how often that happens.

I find it to be really reliable and accurate. I wish I could use Futo in the Transcribo app since I like the text editing functionality of Transcribo, but find the voice input lacking.

You can use a desired model in whisper and there's the added benefit of the app being used as a system wide STT. I am sure the app expects a certain format. The recommended iirc says onnx int8.

cdflasdkesalkjfkdfkjsdajfd the plus variant doesn't need Internet permission, there might be other differences too you can read the readme on github and try both apps.
