Is there anyway to change screenshot from black screen ?

Like with my capital one banking app if i take a screenshot it just shows a black screen but only on certain things it will let me screenshot most of whats in the app but it will hide certian stuff just wondering is there any way to turn this off show it will show everything? Thanks

AngWay I may be wrong on this, others can correct me if I am, but to me that sounds like the app is just blocking screenshots by default, probably for "security reasons". You could try looking in the app settings itself, and seeing if there's an option to enable screenshots.

I would find it surprising (and frustrating) if the operating system did not provide a way to override such arbitrary restrictions.

There is an open issue: https://github.com/GrapheneOS/os-issue-tracker/issues/664/

GrapheneOS will eventually have this feature. Until then, there's no real workaround that I could recommend.

Use 'Markup' from the Graphene OS App Store. However I do not use banking apps on my phone, but I do find this is way better than the stock screenshot way.

Markup is a decent tool, but as far as I understand, it doesn't help the OP with his question of how to get around some apps preventing screenshots of their content.
