Hello,
I use GOS for a while now and really appreciate the effort that has been put into it.

Occasionally I experience that after a reboot wifi in my owner profile ist turned on and mobile turned off despite I never used wifi (never connected) and it's always turned off.
I could not find an open issue for that.
Has anyone experienced something similar and can give me a hint on how to avoid that?

Of course "Turn on Wifi automatically" in Settings > Network preferences is turned off.

My phone does the same thing. I have no idea why, but it's been happening less often so I find it less annoying. There've been others here on the forum who've said their phone does the same thing.

I always just turn mobile data back on here: Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > Mobile data

This is also happening to me, but it is at least once a day so it's quite annoying.

WiFi and Mobile Data toggles are persistent across users. If you reboot your device in that specific state from a secondary user it will be in the same state for the Owner profile on reboot.

      Thank you for your help.
Just wanted to be sure I am not missing something.

My second profile has the same settings (wifi always off). So that can not be the cause in my case.

I guess as unwat said, we can live with that as long as it is not happening very frequently.

I'd like to bump this issue. Is anybody experiencing anything similar or know how to resolve it? Here' a fresh issue I found on GitHub.

Mine doesn't happen immediately on reboot. If I turn on mobile data and then immediately reboot, it's going to reboot to working mobile data. But If I keep my phone in Airplane Mode long enough (maybe a day or more which might or might not include reboots) upon turning it off I invariably find my mobile data disabled.
