Update on 12.13.2025 broke google services...Suggestions on how to fix?

Hello everyone, got notified that the os got an update, but left it there since it was late at night. I rebooted the phone this morning and now google is broken.

I cannot login to the store, play services is also not doing anything, notifications are broken across the board, etc.
This is happening on wifi and carrier, dont have adguard or any firewalls installed.

Uninstalled both playstore and services, reinstalled fresh copy from the GOS store, no change. Uninstalled again, tried reinstalling from Aurora but of course it doesnt work because it cant create a temp account. Reset everything short of doing a full phone reset which I wont do yet.

Very frustrating.

Suggestions are very welcome.

@new-graphene-user please don't ping the admin account, it isn't necessary and your issue isn't a common one, it hasn't broken for me and appears therefore to be a configuration issue not an OS one.

No we don't allow uploads and only allow hotlinking images not hosted here. This protects us from malicious individuals who may wish to abuse those features to cause issues with hosting providers.

This has nothing to do with Play Store or Play Services or GrapheneOS.

I've logged into Play in my Play user and it has remained logged in and working across OS updates, and seedvault backup/restores across every generation from Pixel 3 to Pixel 8. never once not stayed logged in and working.

Longpress an app, scroll to 'logs'. That'ts recent log for that specific app

In Gos Settings, tap System. Tap View logs. That's system log.

Got it, thanks for the info. The file is about 6MB of text, how do I upload it or send it to the devs? Come to think about it, I dont see an option to upload period. Does the site not allow uploads?

@MetropleX Ok, so where do I look? I have not change anything on the config and like I said, the phone was working just fine last night, this morning after I did the reboot it broke.

@MetropleX It was, I deleted the account to try to re-add it again. I posted a screenshot above. The first one shows error communication with auth.google.com. That screenshot had the google account enabled. I removed it to try to re-add it, and cant. Those are the other two screenshots.

So no, the google account is not there since I removed it.

And sry about pinging GrapheneOS. I use the phone for work and I'm on call, so desperate to get notifications working otherwise stuff may brake at the hospital I manage and i'll get in trouble.

If it says error communication with auth.google.com it sounds like a network related issue, dns issue, VPN issue.

well if you look at the screenshot on the imgur link it says problem connecting to accounts.google.com. The other two just say there was a problem communicating with google servers.

It happens on both wifi and carrier. I dont have a vpn installed. Since it happens with the carrier (and using carrier configs including dns) it has to be on the device. And the only thing that changed was that update from last night.

But I feel i need look further. Hence the post, not sure where else to look

@KitsuneNoBaka Thanks for the info. I have no idea wtf happened. It's just weird. Gonna have to spend the day backing everything up, and doing a factory reset.
