USB tethering stopped working after update to Android 16 Pixel 8a

It doesn't work on multiple devices. They don't recognize phone as internet source.
Before update it worked like a charm.
Tried rebooting phone, changing profiles.

It's a deal breaker for me. My phone is my only internet source. Please let me know if it's fixable

It doesn't seem like there are any reported issues about USB tethering not working at all, so there's a good chance this is an issue specific to you. You have to provide more details about what's happening and make sure you've ruled out other causes such as a faulty cable.

secbind i checked on different cables. Including ones that worked before.

I connect to laptop/pc, change type of communication from "just charging" to "USB Tethering".
The computer that when "just charging" gives me options what to do with the phone, stop recognizing phone when changing to "USB Tethering". Phone is charging as before, but nothing more.

I don't know what can I do more to troubleshoot.
If it's specific to me - it's on the phone level. And if so - I have no idea why. I didn't change anything big after starting with Graphene OS.

Jozuegraphene I've confirmed with an 8a user on the latest stable release that USB tethering is working properly.

Alright, I checked that I have "0000001c" problem code in windows Device manager in the CDC NCM device (Ethernet over USB). Uninstalled drivers. Looks like there are no drivers for this device. Some problem with connection.
No idea where to go next.

there was a post a few weeks back where a Windows user reported issues with USB tethering, they addressed it by replacing the NCM driver on their windows machine.
