That battery percentage doesn't show to me... it just shows the number, like 65 instead of just an icon of battery(if the Battery percentage is not checked).
That's strange. For me when I have it checked it shows a horizontal battery icon with the number, currently 63, inside of it.
But this reduce the security... I don't want this. especially that I liked it as it was before
Launchers are the same as apps. Which means that you can change their permissions just like any other app. I have Niagara launcher installed and running with all exploit protections enabled, and no normal permissions granted (not even Network permission). Both Niagara and Lawnchair are decently popular open source projects. I think the security impact is minimal.
But if you want complete security and the absolute minimum installed on your phone, eg. you are a whistleblower in a country run by an authoritarian regime, I understand not wanting to install it.
