trythis3 Btw, ALL these tests where Im triggering alarm by opening doors or windows show up in Notifications that come down via pulling down main screen to the list of all nootifs. But, as u understand, its a Push Notif that I need for an alarm system.
I think there may be some confusion.
"Push notification" means that a server somewhere sends a notification to an app on your device. The app may or may not choose to notify the user of the device.
When an app does decide to notify the user of a device, there are various options. One option is displaying a dot next to the app's launcher icon. Another option is a "silent notification" which is visible when the status bar is pulled down, but not visible otherwise. Some options make sounds, some don't. Some options display on the lock screen, some don't. "Push notification" does not mean "notification that is displayed on the lock screen".
