de0u Thats an excellent clarification. At this point, Ill share anything, even my underpants, with these apps. Just to see if I could get them to do Push Notif's. In abodes app settings, I allow everything, including locating my phone. In "app info" from a long press on the main screen icon, I just set the Location Permission from "allow only while use app" to "allow all time". Still, no push notif. Btw, ALL these tests where Im triggering alarm by opening doors or windows show up in Notifications that come down via pulling down main screen to the list of all nootifs. But, as u understand, its a Push Notif that I need for an alarm system.
If the tests were successful, Id start paring away permissions, like tracking my location, etc, till the app/push notif of trigger didnt work right, then give it back so app/pushnotif comes back, and Id leave it there.
