Did anyone else notice that the scrolling sensitivity seems to have changed with QPR1? Flicker scroll trigger seems more sensitive.

Me personally I liked the old UI better. Those new transparency designs can't be changed, it can be a little minimized in the accessibility settings, but the transparency stays.

Overall I liked the former clean look better. It's more like a kids UI now.

Woke up to 2025112101 installed on my Pixel 8a. None of the crashing problems for me.

The one issue I do have is that "tap to check phone" wasn't working. A reboot got it back. But, it sounds like this is a known issue in upstream that will come back in a free hours to a day. Another issue (that might actually be the same issue) is that my touchscreen is unresponsive for about 5-6 seconds after I unlock my phone. That's going to get real old if that comes back too.

My other comment is admittedly out of place, but must not be underestimated. My phone seems more and more like a child's toy (I bet many agree to that) and I feel more and more incapacitated. I just feel very uncomfortable how things evolve and where this might lead to. I am aware that I maybe sound like some paranoid conspiracist, yet it is still something people should at least give a think about

advokate I'm not trying to be a dick questioning what you don't like about the new UI. The battery icon might be a problem with certain backgrounds, but idk as I use the standard black.
Isn't the Wifi and mobile connection icons easier to glance over and perceive what their levels are at now?

Maybe I'm in the minority about this, I'm pretty basic about looks. I'd still use GrapheneOS if I had to run it off a potatoe with an integrated screen.

spl4tt had iphone 13 with ios 14 a couple years ago. The battery icon, wifi and double-simmed network icons are one to one iphone had. After installation I felt like booted into iphone again. JEZES KRAYST.

Hey don't know which update caused this however editing images via the pencil icon in the sharing menu doesn't work anymore.

The media player notifications are also still broken with multiple media players since the last update.

I had to rise up the font size to one point to the right in the Display settings.
Now it is in adequation with the whole UI.
Vibration icon in status bar is too small (vs. WiFi, airplane, battery)
VPN and alarm too.

In settings, colored icons are something good and refreshing, easy to identify sections.

Lockscreen clock is ugly. Almost puke 😵

So nothing is perfect, far from that. Buuuut I feel the whole phone quicker/snappier

NetRunner88 just in case this is relevant to your lock screen dislike, you can adjust the font width of the clock (separate from system font size), where you can lessen it to the "old" width it had before. looks like you can modify this setting for the small clock or the large clock on lock screen.

We can change the lockscreen clock boldness.
I choose the thinnest and it is close to what we had previously I believe..

Love the new themed home screen icons option. The thing i didn't like about the updated status bar was that the 'Data Saver' icon, the plus in a circle didn't change, it's always been the ugliest icon. .
I still in total ave from the dramatic reinforced battery economy.
