Galaxy Watch Updates

I have a Galaxy Watch 4 and the Watch works pretty well. The only annoying thing is that Updates won't work as it is not able to copy the update to the watch. This seems to be a problem for quite some time now. Is anything going to change in that direction or it's it just like a necessary evil that I have to take?
Isn't a huge deal but a bit uncomfortable to reset the watch every like half a year to get some updates.

McNotfalljoghurt are you using sandboxed play services and/or what pernissions have you granted to the companion app?

It may need battery optimisation exception to maintain a connection to the watch long enough to finish the update?
