someone27281 Its working fine, i just uninstalled the app and re registered to test again.

Owner profile, exploit protection compatibility enabled, play services need sms permission for initial setup.

lipicrrj you sure, I couldn't get it to work, even after going through special permissions like notification read and modes access

GPay stopped working today. Started giving an error: "your payment will be refunded". I uninstalled and reinstalled, the registration was blocked by another error: " your device does not meet Google standards."

Tried again after giving all permissions to Play, Play Services, and GPay: same error.

All this was in a non-owner user profile, where I've had GPay running fine until today.

pariahkite I can second that. I was using it in owner profile, also tried with exploit protection compatibility mode on. HDFC is working fine though.

Saw the thread about RCS not working as well. Just a guess but maybe both these things are caused by the same issue. GrapheneOS will have a fix for the RCS issue in an upcoming release. Lets hope it fixes GPay also.

pang thanks! HDFC and ICICI now work on secondary profile. It had been a while since I'd tried. Perhaps the permissions granted to Play and Play Services did the trick. I've revoked those extra permissions, the apps still work.

With the android 17 upgrade, the fix for droidguard regression causing RCS to fail is included and I'm happy to report that it fixed GPay as well.

pang voiceroy yup thank you for alerting! I made some progress: the registration process started but the app couldn't read SMS OTP. This is again in a secondary user profile. I've noticed that the SMS don't show up in secondary profiles on their own most of the times. As a result, I use QUICK as my default SMS app which has an SMS sync from owner profile feature. So I tried GPay registration again, and this time synced SMS when it was trying to read them, it still sat there waiting for the SMS.

Not sure if the issue is with permissions for GPay or Play Services. So I'll try again after enabling all permissions temporarily. For now, I'm on a 24-hour lockout on GPay due to having tried too many times.

Hi, I just brought the Pixel 10a and installed GOS. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a solution to get the HDFC banking app ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hdfcbank.android.now ) to work. I've tried everything mentioned here and elsewhere but it just doesn't work. The alert behaviour is always the same, it pops up after a while regardless of what stage of registration I'm in. Once I was able to register fully but the alert popped up on second login. Can anyone who've gotten it to work mention what device they are on? could it be a device specific issue?

Running latest GOS release. I use imobile for everything. It doesn't work since past 2 GOS releases. Even bheem, hdfc, irctc Railone won't work. Running on pixel 6a.

Bhim Railone irctc doesn't work. Government apps have issues. Sometimes with vpn even government sites doesn't open.

rejomo PayZapp has enforced policies to refuse installation on uncertified devices so it does not even show up on Google Play on GOS. Trying to do it with Aurora results in a crash on opening regardless of settings. I had conversations with their support and even one of dev team representative and they refuse to make changes to their policy or add support for Graphene. So I gave up on that app. Currently I have HDFC and GPay working fine with default settings.
