Vanadium frequent restarts. too much cache?

I frequently have an issue where Vanadium restarts fresh with no tabs open. Quiet inconvenient it is. Assuming this due to too large cache I usually cleaned it and moved on, but now decided to prevent this to happen to turn off On-device site data. Sites stop working including this forum. Amazon asks to enable cookies despite i have not touched any cookie setting, proton notifies of browser incompatibility. Adding them as exception in On-device site data does nothing (besides creating a list of said sites)

I don't mind some sites, but why do i need to allow all? Or is there some setting i am missing in this case?

It is also unclear how exceptions work. If on-device data is toggled off, the title above sited list sys 'exceptions' and tapping a site promts a blob to allow or block this site. It is clear to me that all sites besides the exception list are not allowed to store their crap on my phone

If the On-device data is toggled on, above mentioned title changes to 'allowed'. But what is the purpose of having a list of allowed sites when the toggle is 'on' allowing any site? What does this setup do when all sites are allowed to store data, and there is an additional list of sites that are allowed the same thing?

I don't recommend turning off the “On-device site date” toggle. Websites generally do not function in browsers that do not accept cookies.

How about deleting Vanadium's temporary files?
(Vanadium's app info -> Storage&cache ->Manage storage)

It has nothing to do with cache.

That mode is not very usable in practice. There will be another option added for only disallowing on-device data beyond browser exit.

It's the reverse of what you set it to. In the mode where it's disallowed, it's for allowing it. It's not something that's usable in practice and won't be until there's support for the mode where it can be set to only disallow saving data past exit.

Here I am not sure, I tried different variants, except for 'clear all data' as It would erase something I need, without luck. Sometimes resetting of Vanadium happens when I switch to other apps from recents drawer. I suspected that it might be due to me actually swiping Vanadium off the screen which would close it and all tabs with it, but no, i clearly reproduced the issue by returning to Vanadium through recents drawer meaning it hasn't been closed.

Is there any documentation explaining Vanadium's storage, cache, temporary files? And their locations respectively?
In few days since I started this thread, cache in Vanadium went from 0 to over 1.5 gb. I would love to look through it, but have no idea where is it? And in Settings>Site settings>Data stored summary volume is less than 4 mb.

I'm not sure where you caught me comparing designs of Graphene Operating System and The Onion Router or equalizing them, otherwise I genuinely do find both projects to share common objectives such as privacy and security for population of 'the digital world', if you know what i mean. I dont know if Conrad Rockenhaus was capable of aiding feds in their criminal inquiries to decrypt traffic flowing his nodes exposing persons behind it. I’ve read that it might have not been possible at all. As apposed with GOS, there is a way to implement such a request, e.g. by pushing malicious updates etc. It would be good to have a clue on counter measures. Some kind of canary type alert ?
